Charmain Berry is a gifted and successful psychotherapist with the unique and solid history of professional practice and diverse training.
Since obtaining her first class honours degree in psychology in 2001 she has remained dedicated to keeping abreast with the latest developments in psychotherapy and neuroscience.
She has consequently trained in some of the most cutting-edge and effective evidence based treatment approaches and has developed a specialist interest and knowledge in the field of trauma and trauma treatments.
She holds an advanced diploma in Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), has completed training in Eye movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is completing her training in Internal Family Systems.
She is an accredited member of the British Association of Behavioural Psychotherapists and is a member of the EMDR Association and Ireland (accreditation pending).
She works with a broad range of problems some of which include: depression, anxiety related problems such as GAD, OCD and panic, addictions, pain problems, low self esteem, stress management and performance difficulties.
Her understanding of human nature extends beyond the scientific and she is sensitive and compassionate towards the spiritual needs of individuals. She also understands the importance of recognising the mind body connection and comfortably incorporates these aspects into her practices.
